What it is
"Til It Happens to You" is a 2015 ballad by Lady Gaga, co-written with Diane Warren, for The Hunting Ground, a documentary about campus sexual assault in the United States. It addresses sexual assault, though its writers say its message applies to any loss, and it asks listeners to imagine what a survivor goes through.
