Bullying often comes with a second injury: adults who shrug it off, so the young person starts to believe they deserve it.
Bully is a documentary directed by Lee Hirsch, filmed during the 2009–10 school year, about bullying in U.S. public schools. It follows students and families in Georgia, Iowa, Texas, Mississippi and Oklahoma, including Alex Libby, who is threatened and hit on his school bus; Kelby Johnson, who is bullied after coming out; and Ja'Meya Jackson, who faces charges after bringing a gun onto a school bus.
