Respectable, and miserable 🎩

"A Well Respected Man" is a 1965 song written by Ray Davies of the Kinks that satirizes the British upper and middle classes; it was the first of Davies's songs to address class directly. It was inspired by a stay at a luxury resort where wealthy guests tried to draw him into a game of golf.
