What it is

"Everything in Its Right Place" is the opening track of Radiohead's fourth studio album, Kid A, released in October 2000. Thom Yorke wrote the lyrics while dealing with the stress of promoting OK Computer. He wrote it on piano, but the band moved it to a Prophet-5 synthesizer with digitally manipulated vocals, and the band said the song shaped how the rest of the album came together.
