reminder: a scary feeling isn't proof 🌲
Radiohead's song is often understood as a reminder that a strong feeling does not prove something is true.
"There There" (subtitled "The Boney King of Nowhere") is the lead single from Radiohead's sixth album, Hail to the Thief, released on May 21, 2003, and produced by Nigel Godrich and Radiohead. The subtitle refers to the children's series Bagpuss, which Thom Yorke watched with his young son. The track builds to a loud, percussion-heavy climax.
