When a new place tries to make you forget who you are, remember your name. 🐉
Who it's for
Chihiro begins as a sulky, frightened child being moved to a new town, the most ordinary of transitions, and the spirit world magnifies that fear into a place where she must work, obey strange rules and fend for herself.
Feelings it meets
What it is
While moving to a new home, Chihiro and her parents wander into an abandoned resort town, where her parents eat food from an empty restaurant and turn into pigs. To save them, Chihiro takes a job at a bathhouse for spirits run by the witch Yubaba. Yubaba takes part of her name and renames her Sen.
