What it is
"Kora Sings" is the third track on Process (2017), the debut album by Sampha, a record shaped in part by the loss of his mother to cancer. Sampha has said that while writing it in a jam session with his kora player, he thought of his late mother and late father. Musically it mixes percussion, electronic noise, kora and field recordings.
