For everyone who could never be 'perfect' enough at home 💔
A kid tells a parent he can never be the person they want and feels unseen for who he is.
"Perfect" is a song by the Canadian band Simple Plan from their 2002 debut album, No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls, released as the album's fourth and final single in 2003. Drummer Chuck Comeau said the song is about telling his parents that he isn't perfect and can't be: they did not support his music career, and the song is his way of saying he made it anyway.
