What it is
"Weightless" is an eight-minute ambient track by the Manchester band Marconi Union, released in October 2011 and made in collaboration with Lyz Cooper of the British Academy of Sound Therapy and with Radox Spa. It uses guitar, piano and manipulated field recordings over sustained low tones. A study at the Sussex Innovation Centre reported reduced anxiety in listeners.
