What it is
"Life by the Drop" is the closing track of The Sky Is Crying, a Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble album released in November 1991, after Vaughan's death. It was written by Vaughan's friend Doyle Bramhall and Barbara Logan, and Vaughan recorded it alone on a twelve-string acoustic guitar in 1989.
