Who it's for

Conan Gray's 'Heather,' one of his biggest songs from Kid Krow, is about watching a crush fall for someone else and comparing yourself to them.

What it is

"Heather" is a song by Conan Gray from his debut album Kid Krow (2020), released as the album's final single in September 2020. It is about unrequited love: Gray's crush is in love with someone else, a girl named Heather. Gray has said he resented Heather even though she was kind and had done nothing wrong, and that he almost left the song off the album because he felt embarrassed by the feeling.
