Who it's for
The opener of Graduation sets up Kanye's graduation theme, mixing confidence with self-criticism and skepticism about higher education.

What it is
"Good Morning" is the opening track of Kanye West's third album, Graduation, released in September 2007, and the first song he started for the record. It uses a graduation and college metaphor, presenting the album as a kind of dissertation and continuing the education theme of his earlier albums. Boastful lines sit next to self-doubt, and the lyrics criticize elitism and the uniformity of the education system.
