What it is
Anne with an E is a CBC and Netflix drama created by Moira Walley-Beckett, adapted from L. M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables, which ran for three seasons from 2017 to 2019. Thirteen-year-old orphan Anne Shirley, imaginative and talkative, arrives at Green Gables in Avonlea, Prince Edward Island, though siblings Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert had meant to adopt a boy to help on the farm.
