What it is
"Teenagers" is a song by My Chemical Romance from their third album, The Black Parade (2006), released in July 2007 as the album's fourth and final single. Gerard Way said it grew out of his own fear of teenagers: he wrote much of it while riding the New York City subway, feeling uneasy around high schoolers and wondering whether he had lost touch with young people.
