What it is
"Even If" is a 2017 ballad by the Christian rock band MercyMe and the lead single from their album Lifer. The song is about holding on to faith during suffering and trusting God even when circumstances do not change. Co-writer Tim Timmons drew on his life with terminal cancer, and Bart Millard's part was inspired by his son's diagnosis with juvenile diabetes at age two.
