"Me Myself and I" is a 1989 single by the hip hop trio De La Soul from their debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising, built on a sample of Funkadelic's "(Not Just) Knee Deep." It responds to the press labeling the group the hippies of hip-hop; member Posdnuos said it was a way to show that their quirky image was not a gimmick and that they were simply being themselves.
