Stranger Things is a Netflix science-fiction series created by the Duffer Brothers, which premiered in 2016 and concluded with its fifth season in December 2025. Set in the 1980s in Hawkins, Indiana, it begins when young Will Byers vanishes, taken by a creature from an alternate dimension called the Upside Down, and a girl with psychokinetic powers named Eleven escapes a government lab and befriends his friends.
