What it is
"Brand New" is the title track and lead single from Ben Rector's 2015 album Brand New, written with David Hodges and Abe Stoklasa. After years of heavy touring, Rector set out to make a record that felt like a debut again, recapturing the energy and naivety of his early days making music, and he wrote this song last, calling it the album's thesis statement.
