When your brain is too loud, go back to the music that felt like home. 🌱
Who it's for
With no strong beat, no vocals and very few events, the piece asks almost nothing of an overloaded brain, which helps attention and arousal settle.

What it is
"Living Mice" is an instrumental track by German musician Daniel "C418" Rosenfeld from Minecraft – Volume Alpha, self-released on Bandcamp on 4 March 2011 as the soundtrack to the video game Minecraft. Like most of the album, it belongs to a quiet, sparse ambient style built largely on piano. In 2025 the Library of Congress added the album to the National Recording Registry.
Where to find it
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music (widely available); also on Bandcamp.
