What it is
"Unpretty" is a 1999 single by TLC, the second single from their album FanMail, written by Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and producer Dallas Austin. Watkins first wrote the idea down as a poem after being upset by a talk show in which male guests disparaged women's appearances, and Austin shaped it into an acoustic-driven pop song.
Where to find it
