Max Richter wrote an eight-hour lullaby with a neuroscientist. 🌙 This is ten minutes of it. Let your brain off the clock.
Richter composed Sleep as an eight-hour lullaby meant to be listened to at night, and consulted neuroscientist David Eagleman on how the brain works during sleep, so it was designed from the start for rest.
"Dream 3 (in the midst of my life)" is an instrumental piece by German-British composer Max Richter. It is the opening track (about 10 minutes) of From Sleep (2015), the one-hour companion to his eight-and-a-half-hour concept album Sleep. Sleep was conceived as music for a full night's rest, drawing on the neuroscience of sleep; Richter consulted neuroscientist David Eagleman while writing it.
