Jason Hall's directorial debut, adapted from David Finkel's 2013 nonfiction book, follows Staff Sergeant Adam Schumann (Miles Teller) as he returns to Kansas after a 15-month deployment in Iraq to his wife Saskia (Haley Bennett) and their two young children.
