3000 recommends films, shows, books, songs, games and more based on what you tell it. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. 3000 is run by 3000 Media. Questions go to hello@try3000.app.

What we collect

Your account. Your email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we also receive the name and email on that account. We don't receive your Google or Apple password.
Your check-ins. What you type into 3000, the mood you pick, and the picks and quotes we showed you. We use these to make your recommendations and to show you today's picks again.
What you tell us about picks. Saves, ratings, and whether a pick helped.
Purchases. If you buy a pack or a membership, our payment provider, Payhip, tells us your email, what you bought, and whether your subscription is active. We never see or store your card details.
Email updates. Only if you tick “Email me when new packs drop.” You can turn this off any time from the link at the bottom of the site.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information or share what you type with advertisers.
We don't show other people your check-ins.
We don't use your check-ins to diagnose anything. 3000 recommends media. It isn't therapy or medical care.

Who helps us run 3000

We use a small number of service providers, each only for the job described:

Supabase stores accounts and check-ins and runs our database.
Netlify hosts the website.
Payhip handles checkout, payments and receipts.
Google Workspace sends sign-in emails and handles email we send and receive.
Google and Apple handle sign-in, only if you choose those buttons.

Safety

If something you write suggests you might be in danger, 3000 shows crisis support numbers before any picks. We don't contact anyone on your behalf.

Cookies and storage

We keep you signed in using your browser's storage, and remember small things like today's picks on your device. We don't use advertising cookies on this site.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account and check-ins while your account is open. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email hello@try3000.app from the address you signed in with, and we'll delete it within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept as long as the law requires.

Age

3000 is for people 13 and older. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and, where it matters, tell you by email.
