What it is
"Street Lights" is a piano ballad from Kanye West's 2008 album 808s & Heartbreak, produced by West and co-produced by Mr Hudson, with Auto-Tuned vocals and atmospheric synths. West uses street lights passing outside a car as a metaphor for memories and time slipping by, and has said each light's brief presence reminded him how temporary life is.
