Lambert co-wrote this with Blake Shelton about the death of his older brother as a teenager.
"Over You" is a slow country ballad by Miranda Lambert from her album Four the Record, co-written with Blake Shelton, her husband at the time, and released as a single in January 2012. Shelton based it on losing his older brother in a car accident when he was a teenager. Lambert recorded it because Shelton felt too emotionally close to the song to sing it himself.
