Healing isn't a straight line. Sometimes it's a late-night drive through every version of you that used to love them. 🚗

Who it's for

Blonde moves the way memory does: songs drift, cut off, return in altered form ('Solo' and 'Solo (Reprise)'), and voice memos and spoken pieces interrupt the flow.

What it is

Blonde is Frank Ocean's second studio album, released in August 2016 on his own label Boys Don't Cry as the follow-up to Channel Orange (2012), a day after the visual album Endless. Recorded between 2013 and 2016 in New York, London and Los Angeles, it is an abstract, experimental record drawing on R&B, soul, pop, indie rock, electronica and psychedelia with languid, minimal rhythms.

Where to find it

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Tidal; CD/vinyl widely available.
