What it is
"Orange Juice" is a folk song from Noah Kahan's 2022 album Stick Season. It tells of two friends pulled apart after a car accident in which others died: one stays in their small hometown, and the other, who was driving, carries survivor's guilt until he turns to religion and sobriety. The song follows the friend who stayed as he tries to reconnect and offers his home as a safe, alcohol-free place to make peace.
