What it is
"Focus" is a song by H.E.R., released as a single in September 2016 on her debut EP H.E.R. Volume 1 and later included on the 2017 compilation H.E.R. The singer feels emotionally neglected and alone even when she is with her partner, and asks for his full attention. In the music video she tries to get noticed at a house party while her love interest is absorbed in his phone and video games.
