Marriage Story is a 2019 Netflix drama written and directed by Noah Baumbach. Charlie Barber is a theatre director in New York, and his wife Nicole, a former film actress, performs in his company's productions. After about a decade of marriage they are struggling, and when Nicole takes a television pilot in Los Angeles she moves there with their son Henry.
