What it is
"New Person, Same Old Mistakes" is the closing track of Currents, Tame Impala's third studio album, released in 2015 and written and produced by Kevin Parker. Parker described it as a final standoff between optimism and pessimism: the sense of having become a new person while finding yourself back where you started, repeating the same mistakes.
