What it is
"Call Out My Name" was released in 2018 as the only single from The Weeknd's EP My Dear Melancholy, and it is the EP's opening track. It is a mournful heartbreak ballad about regret over a relationship in which he supported a partner through a difficult time. It samples Nicolas Jaar's 2016 song "Killing Time."
