What it is

"All Mine" is the lead single from Portishead's self-titled second album, released in September 1997. The track blends trip hop, jazz and soul, with an orchestral arrangement of strings and horns by Nick Ingman and Beth Gibbons' dramatic vocal. It begins like a cheerful love song but turns into a possessive declaration, with unease building beneath its polished surface.
