What it is
"Float On" is the lead single from Modest Mouse's album Good News for People Who Love Bad News. It is an upbeat indie-pop song whose message is that good news is on the way. Isaac Brock said he deliberately wrote it to feel more positive than his earlier work, because he was tired of constant bad news and wanted something that could make people feel good for a day.
