What it is
"Kids" is a song by MGMT, written by Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, with its earliest recorded performance dating from 2003 while they were students at Wesleyan University. Early versions appeared on the EPs We (Don't) Care (2004) and Time to Pretend (2005), and an updated version appeared on their debut album Oracular Spectacular (2007) before its 2008 single release.
