What it is
"8TEEN" is a track on Khalid's debut album American Teen, released in March 2017, which he wrote while a senior in high school; Joel Little co-wrote and produced it. In an NPR interview the song was introduced as being about a teenager's messy night out and his worry about how his mother will react.
