What it is
"Brother" is a song by NEEDTOBREATHE from the 2014 album Rivers in the Wasteland, written by brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart. It grew out of tension during the album's recording and a long competitive rivalry between singer Bear and his guitarist brother Bo. Bo has said they healed by admitting their own faults to each other, and that the song was a big part of that healing.
