What it is

"Passin' Me By" is a jazz-sampling hip-hop song by The Pharcyde from their 1992 debut album, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, released as a single in March 1993 on Delicious Vinyl. It was produced by J-Swift and samples Quincy Jones and Weather Report. Each of the group's four rappers recounts a schoolboy crush that ended in heartbreak, with a sung chorus by Fatlip.
