What it is
"teenage dream" is the closing track on Olivia Rodrigo's second studio album, GUTS. It is a soft piano ballad reflecting on leaving adolescence. It raises worries about losing youthful innocence, falling short of others' expectations, and whether her best years will turn out to be behind her, while weighing reassurances that things get better with age.
