For the ones who went out and came home alone 🌫️
Morrissey sings about crippling shyness, going out hoping to connect and going home alone.
"How Soon Is Now?" is a song by The Smiths, first released in 1984 as a B-side on the 12-inch of "William, It Was Really Nothing," included on the compilation Hatful of Hollow (November 1984), and issued as a UK A-side in January 1985. The song is about a man who cannot overcome his severe shyness to find a partner. Its title comes from Marjorie Rosen's book Popcorn Venus.
