What it is
"Bein' Green" is a 1970 song written by Joe Raposo and performed by Jim Henson as Kermit the Frog on Sesame Street. Kermit begins by lamenting his green color, wishing he were another color and feeling that green blends in with ordinary things. By the end he recalls good things associated with green and comes to accept his color.
