"Nobody" is a 2018 single by Mitski from her fifth album, Be the Cowboy, setting upbeat disco-influenced production against melancholic lyrics. Mitski said she wrote it on a toy piano in Kuala Lumpur at Christmastime, when she was overwhelmed by loneliness because she knew no one in the country while everyone around her was with family.
