What it is
"New Soul" is an indie-folk song written by French-Israeli singer Yael Naïm, co-produced with David Donatien for her self-titled 2007 album. The narrator presents herself as a new soul who has come into the world to learn about giving and taking, and who finds life harder than it looks.
