What it is
"Sunrise" is the lead single from Norah Jones's 2004 album Feels Like Home, written by Jones and Lee Alexander. It is a gentle folk ballad; Jones has said it was written during a break from touring, when the band was sleeping in a lot, and that this is roughly what the song is about. It won the Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2005.
