What they didn't teach you at school. 🏫

Who it's for

Supertramp's song questions what school really teaches and what it leaves out about understanding yourself.

What it is

"School" is the opening track of Supertramp's 1974 album Crime of the Century, credited to Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson. Hodgson described it as mainly his song and said it argues that schools teach useful outward skills but fail to teach who we are on the inside, such as intuition and the heart, which he linked to confusion later in life.
