Even the guy who started AA wasn't perfect. You don't have to be either.
People in recovery often measure themselves against a perfect ideal.
Bill W. is a 2012 documentary directed by Dan Carracino and Kevin Hanlon, the first feature-length documentary about Bill Wilson, co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. It combines rarely seen archival footage and photographs, recordings of Wilson's own voice, and dramatized re-enactments with Blake J. Evans as Wilson. People in recovery are interviewed in heavy shadow to protect their anonymity.
