What it is
"Kun Faya Kun" is a qawwali from A. R. Rahman's soundtrack for the 2011 Hindi film Rockstar, composed by Rahman with lyrics by Irshad Kamil and sung by Rahman, Javed Ali, Mohit Chauhan and Nizami Bandhu. Its title is an Arabic phrase meaning "be, and it is," and Rahman dedicated the piece to the Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya.
