Listen to this when
Brian Eno literally made this to calm people down in airports. ✈️ Put it on the next time your brain won't stop buzzing.
Eno made this album specifically to induce calm and a space to think in an anxiety-prone public place, and 1/1 is its gentle opening.
1/1 is the 16-and-a-half-minute opening track of Brian Eno's Ambient 1: Music for Airports, released in 1979. It is credited to Eno, Rhett Davies and Robert Wyatt. Wyatt plays acoustic piano, and Eno adds synthesizer and electric piano. The piece is built from tape loops of differing lengths and is the album's only track with a melody.
