Conan O'Brien's 2011 Dartmouth College Commencement Address | CONAN on TBS
Lost the job you dreamed of in front of everyone? He did too, and gave a graduation speech about it.
Who it's for
O'Brien gave this address in 2011, the year after his short, highly public tenure hosting The Tonight Show ended, so he speaks as someone whose setback was widely seen.

What it is
Conan O'Brien gives the commencement address at Dartmouth College on 12 June 2011. The first part is comedy about the weather, Dartmouth's traditions and image, and mock advice to graduates and their parents. Midway he turns serious and describes his very public exit from The Tonight Show, and how afterwards he tried new things, including touring and stand-up, before taking a job on basic cable.
