Listen to this when
Almost There
So close you can taste it. Almost there. 🎺
Who it's for
This is the song for the home stretch, when you can almost touch the thing you have worked for.
Excited, impatient→Determined and joyful
Feelings it meets
What it is
'Almost There' is a jazz song by Randy Newman for Disney's 2009 animated film The Princess and the Frog, sung by Anika Noni Rose as Tiana. Standing in the run-down building she hopes to turn into her restaurant, Tiana sings to her mother about how close she is to her dream, as the animation shifts into an art deco fantasy based on a picture her father gave her.
