'I Can See Clearly Now' is a 1972 song written, produced and sung by Johnny Nash, recorded in London and released as the lead single from the album of the same name. It reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks and was later covered by Jimmy Cliff for the 1993 film Cool Runnings.
